Trent Ronske joined Burton in June of 2022 after a 2 year stint in public accounting. His accounting focus began in Statesboro Georgia where he attended Georgia Southern university for both his undergraduate degree as well as his Masters in accounting.
Trent’s energy and focus quickly revealed his potential to contribute to the Burton team. After only 6 months, he earned the Controller title and began to take ownership of the quickly growing project management solution. Trent has also been instrumental in the migration of the back office accounting software to an ERP solution.
Trent’s hard work and commitment to Burton Energy has not diverted him from investing in his passion for golf. He makes it to the course twice a week and often travels to tournaments around the Southeast. Earlier this summer, Trent won his flight at his local club championship. He continued to battle through quarter and semifinals and he made it to the Finals late Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, a lucky 30 foot birdie ended Trent’s club title dreams in a thrilling ending.
Outside of the golf course, you will find Trent spending his free time watching MMA, working in his Woodshop and volunteering with local animal shelters to help dogs.
In the summer of 2021, Trent took his long time girlfriend and college sweetheart Jane on a hiking trip. A perfectly timed marriage proposal on a picturesque mountain overlook was accepted by Jane. The couple will be tying the knot this Fall in Big Canoe. The wedding will be followed up with a Honeymoon trip to Europe in the Spring of 2024.
